(28,385 posts)He was an abused rescue, and is the sweetest, silliest kitty I've ever met. He was named after the cartoon character "Felix the Cat". Felix is a goofball. You can't get mad at him because he is small and so innocent looking.

(207,493 posts)I found my Felix as a little kitten in a supermarket parking lot one night on my way home in August 2014- and he grew up to be the most beautiful cat! He was not easy to catch, but I had help from a guy who worked in the store and his wife to came to pick him up, he had gloves and she had a basket - and when I took him to the vet the next day, he said this little guy was only about 7 weeks old! Here's my Felix and it's so good to hear from you, my friend!
dmr
(28,385 posts)except your Felix is just a few years older. Same eyes, too.
It's good to see you, too. I miss those late night/ wee hours of the morning chats back when we moderated. Those were the days, lol.
Rhiannon12866
(207,493 posts)I'll never know where he came from, but I'll always be grateful that I stopped at that store on my way home on that particular night - and that he was hungry enough to show himself to me! I could not have found a more beautiful - or smart - kitty!
I think of you so often, my friend! And I'm grateful for all you taught me during all those overnight mod watches! I hope that you're doing well and my best to your Felix, too...

(13,800 posts)I went back to find the picture of the four wide-eyed kittens and the grown up cat with its eyes shut to find the caption. So I could identify it in my Thank you! It's not there! I looked several times. I got out of The Lounge and looked again. It's not there. I didn't make it up. What happened????
