The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsOur former cottage in Quebec. My parents lent it to us when we were
young adults so we could have parties with our friends. They were so generous. The moon would beat a bath across the lake right to our dock at night and the stars in rural Quebec were glorious.

(19,569 posts)I can almost smell the faint acidic and sweet scent of wood smoke on the air mixed with the headiness of the earthy moss and crisp, clean green scent from the ferns.
I want to be on that lake in a canoe drifting along watching the birds doing their daily lives and watching for other wildlife making cameo appearances.
Thanks for sharing.
