This is a true story...

The Lounge or Humor forums are usually the place for jokes, but swear to dog this is true. I remembered it reading another post here about fixing up houses and some owners not knowing tools it may not be exact but it dusted off this memory.

I was fixing or making something in the garage at the old farm. My two older kids, son and daughter who is 5 years younger were helping. I left my “mobile” toolbox in the chicken coop and I need a cross-hatch screwdriver.

I sent my son to get me a Phillips screwdriver from the toolbox, need a size that was there. Time passed….and more…I was thinking he got “lost” as young teens often do so I sent my daughter to see what was up.

Round trip from the coop was about a minute in time so she soon returned with the previously requested screwdriver followed by my son.

I looked at him without a word said. He explained “Dad, there is no Phillips screwdrivers in there…only ones named Stanley.”
