Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI think I'll start a spinoff to the "Pro-Life" movement.
I'll call it "Pro-Fatherhood."
The central principle is this: every man will be legally required to contribute financially to every child he has ever sired, full stop. Since life "begins at fertilization", that implies that every man will be retroactively billed for expenses incurred by a woman in pregnancy before the child is tested to know that it is his.
Be a big hit, dontcha think?

(9,273 posts)Read an article about how the vast majority of Rs in Georgia voted for Walker, even though there was proof that hed paid for a number of abortions. Lesson learned: its perfectly fine, in Republican world, for a man to make this decision for a woman. Its when the woman makes this decision for herself that they get all pro-life. More proof of what this is really about.
And no amount of $$ can compensate for the physical risk of childbearing.
