Which Olympic sports do not cost a fortune to train for?

I know it costs a lot to travel to various meets around the world, but I've been wondering which sports to not cost a fortune to train for. Logic tells me that Trck/Field, Swimming, Soccer and Basketball (minus he NBA players) can be accessed through high school and college. There are boxing clubs all over major metropolitan areas. Logic also tells me that Cycling and Gymnastics would be at the highest end.

sure, you need to buy a couple pairs of good running shoes, but then you can just walk out your door and you can run/train wherever you like.
