By the farm she came from. Its so sad to drive past the big dairy farms in central CA (and don't do that with your windows down!), and see the cages with calves squashed into them so they can't move. Keeps the meat so tender, ya know.
I'm glad this girl was saved. I had a pet Brahma steer that I loved dearly.
