😋Mine: Fried bologna on white toast with lettuce, tomato, American cheese, mustard, mayo and of course potato chips! 😋

(34,136 posts)But I never had one as a kid.
My favorite sandwiches were peanut butter and mayo or lebanon bologna with mayo and mustard. Still have those on rare occasions but not very often.

Was also a big fan of toasted PB&J. Grape jelly, of course.

(3,706 posts)Growing up was long in the past.
I expect the fruition far in the future.
I have a story from age 12 about a a search for tuna fish sandwiches when visiting cousins in Philadelphia.
I recall Dad would make sandwiches to take to work with odd innards; like leftover cold spaghetti & sauce or cold Boston baked-beans.
Peanut butter and onion is remembered and Reubens.
