That is the "Polish Soul"?
Is it like the "Russian Soul"?

(41,757 posts)My Polish branch of family came from Germany, Poland and Russia (depending on which country was occupying the land at the time)
And became pretty much mutts here in America: Irish, French Canadian, English, Eastern European Jewish.
My twin brother's Ancestry profile was a hot mess.
I can't answer your question, but I can tell you this.
You better not stand between me an a plate of pierogies

(41,757 posts)The only thing we have is their heritage variety of rhubarb, a silk top hat and a Knights of Columbus sword.
We lived in a very Catholic Maine mill town
With lots of Italian, French Canadian and one family of Polish immigrants.
Everyone looked out for each other.
Even when the KKK burned crosses across the river from the paper mill in Jay Maine.
My great grandfather built a small Catholic church near the mill. Bought the bell and the church organ .
When the mill was sold. My grandfather's house and the church burned to the ground.
Salvaged the rhubarb though.
2 varieties.
