Customer "Service" re: a gone-wrong delivery.
There are only boxes to ck & an automated voice menu to chose from in a live call. None of the options apply. 😡
Apparently our next door neighbor's delivery and our delivery were both due on the same day.
A stoned driver (according to hubby who went out) left the neighbor's pkg with us but nothing at their house. Amazon's site stated our delivery was made. (We took our neighbors' order to them & they claim they didn't receive ours.)
There's no way to explain this to Amazon's automated menu, except to ck "order not received." Their reply: "pkg delivered."
Suggestions?
This is the 1st trouble we've ever had with Amazon, btw.

(26,366 posts)If Amazon delivered it there should be a photo of where they left it.
You can get them to call you if you go through the choices Help > More Help > Contact Us

Thank you, PoliticAverse; I appreciate your help.
Btw, I should've just googled before posting. Duh on me.

(4,919 posts)... is the number I used when I received a delivery meant for someone else (in another town). This happened last week, but I don't recall a complicated phone tree. If I remember correctly, I talked to someone right away...That number is staffed 24/7.
The interesting thing I learned... Amazon told me to keep the three packages as a gesture of good will. They said it's easier/faster to send out a new shipment to the intended customer. They did ask me for the tracking numbers after they told me to keep the items.
So, I wound up getting 3 pairs of house slippers and a 1TB external solid state drive for my computer.

(28,125 posts)How I got into the automated tree was by replying to a delivery email I received from them.
Thank you so much for this #.
Since posting, I googled for a live person # at Amazon & found this:
"If you need to talk to a live person in Amazon customer service you need to dial 1-888-280-4331. This phone number is available from 3 am to 10 pm PST seven days a week."
I'm now >>> myself!
Thanks again, targetpractice! 🙏
