Tornados and hurricanes scare the crap out of me. I have only been through a hurricane, but I think tornados would be even more frightening since there is less warning and they move so fast.

I was born during the aftermath of one of the most deadly tornadoes to ever hit the country. I think the tornado hit at about 8 pm. It killed 116 people. I was born just after 2, the next morning. My Dad couldn't see me, right away, because they had him helping with the triage in the hospital parking lot.

The weird thing about this one is, it came through the exact same area as the earlier one, this year, which is just to the west of where I live.

Fortunately, most of that standing water is gone.
