Taking down overgrown trees this afternoon

Noticeably I can't lift any heavy stumps. Obviously hormones are effectively working and is completely changing my body.

Question. For those who do yard work and get scratched up arms and hands. How do you treat them? Alcohol? Peroxide?

Also we plan on replacing these cedar trees with shrubs. I wouldn't have cut them down otherwise. But they were beginning to damage our roof

When I started to grow my beard I was so excitedand happy, now it's a great goatee. I even dye it sometimes to match my mowhawk..

I was so blown away at how my body was changing with the testosterone. Getting top surgery was the most amazing change.

I feel really comfortable with my body now.

I don't take testosterone nowadays because I'm diabetic and the hormones made my sugar levels too high.

My body makes it's own testosterone or something because my goatee is growing longer and thicker all by itself.

Witch hazel for insect bites. Cuts. Scratches. Just wash them and check on healing process.

Icthamol ointment for splinters/thorns left behind.

Save that cedar! Good for the yard. Mulch it up if you can.

Stumps ... hire a tree company w/a stump grinder or a bobcat to haul them away ... if not too
big just cut them off at ground level with a chain saw .... BTW the grindings from a stump grinder
can be used in replanting but mix it with some good top soil and or compost. The grindings alone
will dry out fast and will also tie up nitrogen.

Scratches on arms and hands .... take a shower and them wash real good ... if are worried about an
infection just a little neosporin on any of the cuts. Leaving them uncovered helps in the healing.
Advil for the pain.

When you replant USE NATIVE PLANTS .... If you can't keep 'em watered wait until fall. If close enough
to the house and you get enough rainfall think about getting a rain barrel and then run a soaker hose
around the new shrubs.

Work in some good compost and some Espoma plant tone in the area you going to replant.

You will probably see some mushrooms coming up in the area where the cedar trees were. They are good
and are living on the roots of the old trees.

Also, if there is a lot of sawdust even adding soil will not do too much to help as the nutrient balance will be way off for quite some time and result in a very high carbon to nitrogen level.

Another thing about removing a tree and stump grinding is, if planting over that area, the stump and roots should really be removed as any planting over top will not have good enough penetration to grow properly, of course this is all dependent on size of tree and stump.

Removing the stump and root ball provides the best opportunity for better growth of any plantings.

You should also let the ground rest for a while if you can't remove all the roots in order to give the remaining root system time to begin breaking down.

not much grows on cedar.
otherwise it's a great way to get rid of a stump. the right shrooms will fruit for decades.

except I'm saving all the cedar and cutting the unhealthy spruces... trying to keep ahead; we lose a few trees in every heavy wind

scratches and wounds... I make a green salve that I use.... comfrey and hemp infused olive oil, my beeswax and good essential oils... after washing, I often will use peroxide before the salve

to keep them clean and to keep them from getting infected.

I personally like to dab Neosporin on after washing my cuts and scrapes, but some people can have allergies to that ointment.
