(24,330 posts)Immediate disqualification. It was the first year and show season after the AKC started letting mixed breed dogs join and compete in Rally and Obedience Trials. It was the first day of the season with only four shows scheduled in the entire country. They made a big deal about it and we all got ribbons saying "I was there" with the date. We also got our picture in the AKC magazine. So my dog may have made history as the first dog to leave mixed breed poop in an AKC judging ring. I retired her from competition after that event, which was her first. I could think of no higher level she could achieve.

My black Lab got me up a few mornings ago, just fast pacing & "crying" around the bed. He made it clear he needed to go out in a hurry. No time to leash (law here), get dressed, etc., so I just opened the front door & he zoomed to the shrubbery bed (no pooping in our grass) & let go. Poor old guy had diarrhea.

(11,571 posts)SOOO quick, quite fast and as nimble as a mountain goat. But so distraction-prone, if it's something he's hard wired to chase.
