Hurry, before Covid is over and you don't have an excuse to explain why

you went out of your way to find a movie that breaks the norms as we have come to know them.

I won't give the storyline away. I'll just give the briefest of descriptions:

It's a foreign movie, therefore English subtitles. It's other worldly, in the way that "Let the right one in" was. In fact, it's written by the same writer. Not for the prudish viewer.

Oh, and the movie is called Border, which came out in 2018. It's on Hulu. It's the story of a border police that is gifted with a sense of smell that gives her the ability to find those who are fearful, or have something to hide. So, she's very suited for the job.

It helped that I went looking for an explanation and found an article that wrote about the differences between the movie and the book.
