What's the last photo you took before everything shut down a year ago?

Here's mine, dated March 9, 2020. Two of those cats passed away since, one in May (Jeoffry, the gray tabby), and another in June (Milo, orange and white). Pixie is still with me.

They look so peaceful, Ocelet. 🥰. I’m sorry two of them are no longer here.

April 11th which was a Saturday.

For people not from here, normally this street would have been full of cars and people. Lots of bars and restaurants right next to the college. It was deserted.

as life hasn't been that different for me, but this was the last social event we had with an old family friend, Jerry. He came out to the house for Cinco de Mayo. a couple of weeks later he suffered a stroke and spent the summer incapacitated and virtually alone and died at the end of July. we were only able to see him in person the last day. otherwise we had to visit through glass using cell phones and his speech was affected, plus his left side and he never really learned to use a cell phone anyway. it was horrible, but the great stories and memories live on.

That's not, not different. It's a loss and one dealt with in an extremely different than normal fashion. My love to you. ❤️

it was all part of a long strange year for sure. we moved him down to the town nearby in late November 2019 and he was really happy nearby, totally enjoying his new place, getting into decorating it and just loving being away from the previous place that got all screwed up mostly by his drama vampire sister. he got 6 months of happiness before things went to shit and the guy had an amazing life so other than the last couple months it was a great adventure. I know he didn't want to go that way but there just wasn't much choice with the shitty communication.

Going through the pandemic is bad enough, without losing pets you loved.
