I think I need to see it again to provide spoilers.
Just as a normal movie the action scenes are outstanding. Incredible car chase scene.

(33,643 posts)I've heard it's very convoluted, but cool.
I generally like movies that are convoluted though, as long as it rough makes sense in the end.

(3,406 posts)It seems the best way to comprehend the film is to buy the DVD and watch it several times, with the subtitles on. Apparently the dialogue is as challenging to understand as the plot. But Ive heard that the acting is top notch and the action scenes are good, so maybe thats the incentive to watch it several times.
I probably would have loved it when I was younger, but my six year old daughter doesnt allow me that much time to carefully inspect a movie, so I may never see it.

Id recommend it. The car chase scene alone is worth the watch.

(2,281 posts)His movies make you think and question time and space. The plots tend to disrupt linear thinking.
This one though is a DOOZY. I had a hard, hard time with it. And the dialouge was difficult to understand no matter how loud I turned it up.
I had to go online after viewing to have things explained. And even then, I can't tell you what happened and in what order. Critics dinged it for being insanely convoluted.
Put your thinking caps on and concentrate fully when watching.

(183,585 posts)When you have a story involving THAT (no spoilers). A director can get crazy with it. I felt like this actually follows a line which will be something I look for in a second watch.

(7,447 posts)I think Inception did it better, and there are better time-travel related movies that I think do a better job.
I think it appears clearly set up to start a series of movies set in the same universe, which if it ever happens might make the movie better in conjunction, but as a stand alone, it's a solid B for me. I didn't think it was all that difficult to understand then again I am a scifi nerd.
