I'm officially the world's biggest crybaby.

I was whining about getting a Covid test, which my wife told me would be painful.

Uncomfortable would have been a better word, slightly uncomfortable.

I was also terrified it would come back positive, and even that I wouldn't live to see Biden inaugurated and Trump out on his ass.

NEGATIVE!

And then...

And then...

Twenty four days and Trump is gone!!!!!

Just got to make it to the vaccine now. I'm in group 3, high risk, but not as high risk as people in nursing homes.

I think I'll go upstairs and kiss my wife.

Let's hope Trump doesn't F the process all up before Biden can get in charge.

There are so many tier-one anti-vaxers out there refusing their immunizations!

4. Tier one is doctors, nurses, and other clinical staff.

I haven't heard of any of them refusing the vaccine, and I have never known personally a medical worker who was anti-vax.

I would, of course, have taken Mike Pence's vaccine, which, as he apparently thought injecting bleach would be enough well, because, "the boss said," he should have declined, but I heard he didn't decline.

A message from my Doctor's office said that the practice should have vaccines in 3 to 4 weeks. Once I'm eligible, I'm in.

6. I'm tier one, too. I got my first vaccine and know nurses and medical assistants who are refusing.

Or mostly, taking a "wait and see" approach. I'm hoping they'll come around. I haven't seen or heard about any physicians or PAs who aren't taking them, however. When I got my vaccine I was in a room with many care providers and it was a happy, even jovial, event. We had to hang around for 15 minutes after our inoculation to make sure we didn't have a reaction and there was much gratitude expressed. They gave us a pad of yellow sticky notes and told us to write our feelings to stick on a whiteboard down there. It was all "Yay science!" and "Thank yous!" Still, there are hold outs.
