The rich have a very distorted view of money which prevents them from acting normally.
With no understanding what day to day life is for most Americans.

Kelly Loeffler is a good example. Worth $800 million, she is the richest member of Congress.
Her first thought after getting a classified Covid briefing was to rush out and buy stocks in body bag companies. Also sold retail stock and purchased stock in PPE.

So she knew how bad it would get, with hundreds of thousands of deaths if unchecked, and her first thought was that she must get richer. $800 million is not enough money for her but she thinks many Americans will be thrilled with $600. Which doesn't pay rent in most cities.

This pursuit of vast wealth is a sickness, one that makes the rich unable to function in a normal way, and certainly unable to govern.

The government isn't there to be your own personal piggy bank!

Stand there, look grateful and don't ask "Please, may I have some more?" Didn't you read Dickens?
