1. This has just been one of those days for me

I've found myself getting choked up, on and off, all day long. It started when I was driving this morning, listening to MSNBC. A nurse, who had just gotten vaccinated, was asked what was the first thing she was going to do after she got that second shot. She said she was going to go see her family. They live in Seattle, and she hasn't seen them for a year and a half.

We've all sacrificed, but my little bit of sacrificing doesn't begin to compare to the sacrifices that SO many have made.

I am filled with gratitude, and I'm filled with hope.

2. How are you feeling?

3. I'm good. I'm really not complaining.

I was thinking that we've all been trying so hard to be brave and stick to the plan so we can get out of this nightmare. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe I'm finally letting my guard down a little, as far as emotions go.

I'm just so thankful that we're almost rid of the orange menace and we're going to again have competent leadership. I'm very hopeful about the Senate.

5. Funny thing, I'm not really a fan of country music

But I was just thinking of how far we've progressed that Maren Morris, a country singer, could put out this video.

She didn't get "Dixie Chicked". That's progress.
