Pup is barking non-stop while the roof is being ripped off.
Today is my lucky day. I'm sitting here with the pets while a new roof is being installed. Whole lotta banging going on up there.
The damage from golf ball size hail wiped out the roof of homes all around us. My neighbor's car was totaled. ![]()

2. The light bar on my car's roof was damaged.
It shorted out. Maybe I'll just stay retired. Lost one job. Refereed my one remaining client to a very good escort agency.
You must have great stories from years ago. ![]() |

3. He's just looking out for you.
Any dog that didn't bark during a disruption of any kind in the house I wouldn't really trust...

4. He wants to defend me.
He stands between my ankles and barks furiously at anyone talking to me.

5. Good for him.
Every time I go over to my mother's, her little yappy dog (which she has had for five years now, and ought to know me better by now...) lunges for my ankles and nips me as much as she can get away with.

6. New roofs are hard on pets.
My cats totally freaked, hid under the bed every second there was banging coming from the roof. The dog just barked and barked. I had to keep all the curtains closed so he wasn't constantly barking at the workers as they walked around. It was a miserable few days,
So glad I probably won't have to go through this again since we got a 30 year roof. |

7. Day 2. Missy Macaw is okay if I stay in the room with her.
... and the bark goes on ... and on ...
Roofers caught a weather break. Yesterday morning started with snow. Today is sunny. Tomorrow afternoon rain moves in. |
