This is the worst day of the year for my dogs

I have an Aussie and a border collie. We feed them twice per day at the same time and if we forget they will remind us, always about 10 minutes either side of the designated time.

As smart as they are, they still haven’t figured out Central Standard Time vs Central Daylight Time and there’s always an adjustment period.

But my black dog rescue is an old guy now and is just happy whatever time he gets fed. Then again, maybe he just smiles to himself as he lets the cats do the dirty work.

Even if that is 3am or 5 minutes after they were last fed.

at exactly the same time as before the time change this morning by climbing onto my side, then leaping to the dresser. It was done with enough force that it definitely got my attention. I looked at her, sitting innocently on the dresser, with an expression that seemed to say, 'Oh! Is it time for you to get up and give me treats already?'

DOg and cat get main meals "soon" after I get up, and "soon" after I get home in the evening. So I guess I'm lucky that they never had an exact time to get used to.

It takes her a couple of days to recalibrate her internal clock.
