“Hot Tamales” are the favorite candy. I’ve never heard of them and the grocery stores do not sell big Halloween bags of them as they do for Snickers, Reese’s, etc.

Maybe they are extremely popular in other parts of the state (even though NoVA has a huge share of the population).
