2. That last one is a quick fix

But it makes you wonder what they were thinking.

"We have an extra $200 to use on these stairs. What can we do with it? I know, let's add some more handrails. You can never have enough handrails!"

3. I have a feeling the handrails were added later. Probably because people

were falling down the stairs when they walked down the center. Although I think just one handrail down the center would have done the trick. It is a bit of overkill.
