3. Market Watch reports on business like the most clueless form of Downton Abbey...
I could not wait to hit the mute button during the last recession. It is as though the main host was beyond oblivious about the suffering--or just didn't give a damn-- as he gleefully reported on the latest downturn and what employee-destroying tactic Big Business was doing to save themselves.

5. Yes, nowadays it's all about corporate success and power.
Seems I recall back in the 90s they were reasonably neutral and somewhat balanced but since WSJ took over, it seems mostly right-leaning in their attitudes.
Don't read them much anymore except an occasional market check, but still like their individual stock snapshots and charts. |
