I cannot speak for the dog in the photo but I can tell you that shade of green on wet hair is very familiar to all white or pale cream standard poodle owners. Dedicated shampooing is required to get the color out but fortunately, chlorophyll is easy to clean off of spoo hair.

We camped in a campground that had campsites for people with horses. They were visiting the campsite next to mine. Rusty found horse manure and rolled in it. Ugh! No water as it was late in the year, so I took him and a bottle of shampoo down to the lake and threw him in. When he got to shore I lathered him up and threw him in again. Rinse, repeat, rinse, repeat, etc. until he was a light mint green, but at least he smelled better on the ride home.

on the way home Rusty was trying to figure out why camping turned humans into murderous psychopaths. But horses appear to be nice creatures!

But a few dog treats softened him up. His groomer got to finish the job I started. He loved her!
