I'm just wondering, with everything that we know now that we didn't know forty years ago, it sounds like a good idea not to have them unless there's such a thing as prophylactic lips.

(7,875 posts)but outside of the bumpkin states I doubt you'll find one. Nobody would want to 'man' it. Apart from the fear of Herpes, I can't see today's women seeing it as anything but demeaning. I'm not even talking feminists here. The only place I could see one today would be at some Podunk County church fair- where all the attendees would be from the congregation.
