And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make.

The Beatles have so many great songs that it's hard to pick a favorite. I can't do it. But that line in the subject line is my favorite lyric from any Beatles song.

What's your favorite Beatles song or lyric?

Also, my favorite Beatle is George.

when i'm 64 is also one that speaks to me, even tho i am 64 now, and hate to think of that as old.

but you are right, hard to pick.

4. Aside From Simply Liking Blackbird

I have also liked why Paul wrote it

“Paul McCartney wrote this about the civil rights struggle for African Americans after reading about race riots in the US. He penned it in his kitchen in Scotland not long after an incident in Little Rock when the federal courts forced the racial desegregation of the Arkansas capital's school system.

"I was sitting around with my acoustic guitar and I'd heard about the civil rights troubles that were happening in the '60s in Alabama, Mississippi, Little Rock in particular," he told GQ. "I just thought it would be really good if I could write something that if it ever reached any of the people going through those problems, it might give them a little bit of hope. So, I wrote 'Blackbird.'"

5. Pretty much their final lyrics (at least, of any import) on their final album, Abbey Road ...

The whole Side 2 of Abbey Road is my favorite Beatles, and it's the most epic 'farewell' from a band that was ever put on wax. Because of course the greatest band of all time also made the greatest farewell.

Aside from this one distinction, I can't pick other 'favorite Beatles' things, because I love too much of what they did.

"A struggling musician realizes he's the only person on Earth who can remember The Beatles after waking up in an alternate timeline where they never existed."

The previews look good.

I've had throughout my life. All unique, all very much beloved. All missed when they are gone.

13. Of course it is so hard to choose, but "Across the Universe" has such imagery

Words are flowing out
Like endless rain into a paper cup
They slither wildly as they slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow waves of joy
Are drifting through my opened mind
Possessing and caressing me

"Sleep Pretty Darling" was my go to lullaby for two cute little girls for a couple of years. I still tear up when I hear it.

"Tomorrow Never Knows" mind-blowing.
