In my neck of the woods, April gave us all of 9 days of no measurable rain, and 14 days into May, we've had only 2.
Damp, dank, dreary, cold...
Enough is enough!
I seriously believe this is mucking w/ my physical and mental well-being.

(25,951 posts)There's something called SAD, Seasonal Affective Disorder, which is the sad way you feel after a period of overcast and no sun.
Perhaps it could be alleviated by having one of those lamps intended to mimic real sunlight, but I don't know how hard they are to find or if they're expensive.
I live in northern New Mexico, and a day that is overcast the entire day is very unusual. I mostly have bright, sunshiny days and I just love it here.

(7,888 posts)The weather in Phoenix has been just as I remember late spring, early summer in the midwest. We have been getting rain frequently, have had many overcast days and finally, my favorite because it lifts my mood, sunshine.
The forecast is for Temps close to 100 by 4pm today, siesta time or blogging time.
