(17,984 posts)I would reach down, pick the cat up, and start petting on her. I know damn well she probably doesn't want to be picked up, but it's not about what she wants; it's about what I want. And I want to pet the cats!

(6,045 posts)I think the video clip above is showing a sick or ill cat rather than simply a cat refusing to give ground as so many are known to do. I wouldnt be shocked if that cat is possibly looking for human help to make it feel better. Even sick/injured wild animals on occasion will approach humans in what really looks like a plea for help. So, to see a domesticated animal like a cat do it would make perfect sense!!
