Terrifying encounter paraglider has with dust devil
A scary moment was captured in Manilla, New South Wales, Australia. Leanne Vibe's husband was preparing his paraglider when a dust devil violently lifted him off the ground and swept him 180 kilometers away. Fortunately it all ended well.
Occurred on January 2, 2019 / Manilla, New South Wales, Australia
"A dust devil caught my husband when he was setting up to launch his paraglider. He was picked up, spun around violently, but thankfully escaped with no injury. After the incident, he continued on an eight-hour cross country flight of 193km. The best flight that day on record in the world. He was flying a lightweight Skywalk X-Alps."
