Anyone familiar with Kipling's poem 'Bridge Guard at Karoo'?

Found it from a mention in one of Mercedes Lackey's Elementals books.

and yet his poems often captured well a range of human emotions. I didn't know the Bridge Guard at Karoo so I gave it a fast scan and found it very, well-Kipling. Thanks

It took a Kipling to make the sun rise in the West and set in the East!
