and yet his poems often captured well a range of human emotions. I didn't know the Bridge Guard at Karoo so I gave it a fast scan and found it very, well-Kipling. Thanks

And the dawn comes up like Thunder out of China 'cross the bay...

It took a Kipling to make the sun rise in the West and set in the East!
