Why the Anonymous op-ed doesn't really change anything.

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by DonViejo (a host of the The DU Lounge forum).

What we've learned from the op-ed:

1. Trump is erratic, amoral, ignorant, and barely functional. Really. The only people who did not already know this are so far down the rabbit hole that they wouldn't take off their MAGA hats if Trump ate their children before their own eyes.

2. Staff in the White House take matters into their own hands. Of course they do. Given Trump's management skills, if he ran the White House himself, it would be a garbage heap overrun with rodents and cockroaches, if it hadn't already burned to the ground.

3. Staff are fully on board with the Republican agenda. Wow, there's a shocker. Did someone maybe believe the place was infiltrated by agents of Greenpeace, Amnesty International, and the ACLU?

4. Staff think they're good people doing constructive work. No kidding. Is there anybody out there who starts their day by looking into the mirror and going, "moo-ha-ha"? (OK, Steve Bannon probably does.)

On edit: One other thing:

5. The Op-ed will drive Trump crazy. More than he was before?
