I have just received the most bizarre Face Book friend request, yet.

Every single photo on this guy's profile page is of Michael Flynn. His name isn't Michael Flynn - it's Dale. And he crudely 'photo-shopped' his first name over Flynn's name tag. Yea, that seems a bit casual for an authentic military name tag.

Oh, and there are no friends listed.

I am disinclined to accept.

For a while I was getting a lot of requests from people whose profile pages were written in Cyrillic. I didn't accept those, either.

7. The weirdest friend request I ever got was in the first few months I was on Facebook.

It was some insane martial arts enthusiast from Indonesia. I have no idea why he friended me. But I declined his request.

The second-weirdest was from a sixteen year-old girl in Turkey. She must have seen my profile on Facebook's turkish coffee enthusiasts page. I sent her a message saying: "Are you aware that I'm a guy in my forties?" She PM-ed back: "No. Sorry!" and withdrew her request. I guess in Turkey, like everywhere else, people like to acquire random friends just to boost their count...
