Saw "The Post" and "Darkest Hour" back to back.

Both were meh. I was a little put off by how they portrayed Katharine Graham. I grew up in DC, so I am familiar with the post. That's not how she was. The character, Margaret Jones Pynchon of the TV show Lou Grant, was based on Graham.

I just don't think she was as unsure as that

and while I did think Gary Oldman did a fine job, they took quite a few liberties in that movie telling Churchhill's story
