Santa's reindeer will freeze their ears tonight

unless he has them well fortified with anti freeze. The temp will drop to -22F tonight but the wind will make it feel like like a cozy -46F. Tomorrow will be -8F but the wind will make it feel like -46F again. And it is going to stay like this for the at least the next 10 days.

So get together with family and friends and enjoy the good company. Hopefully we get to focus on more pleasant things than the mess the world is in for a few days. Don't forget to keep yourselves warm with visions of Donald Trump and his minions adrift on an Arctic ice flow surrounded by pissed off polar bears with a few Greenland sharks thrown in for good measure.

As for me, I have an abundant supply of 160 proof anti freeze and several cords of firewood to keep the missus and me and our horde of cats comfortable. Come back next year ready to look for lampposts, Republican politicians and someone having a sale on rope.

I guess we will be lucky in Michigan to hit a 10 degree high and could hit 0 and - 0 all next week as well. Welcome to DU ! I might drive up to the UP and get me some pasties. On second thought with rear wheel drive, I will wait.
