Finally saw Star Trek: Discovery

I adore all things Trek, and have been pretty accepting of changes made in the various iterations. But the Klingons are a bridge too far for me. I am so fond of Worf and his compatriots. The new Klingons are awesome as aliens, but not as Klingon aliens.

Otherwise, I am starting to get into the series. I am glad, though, that I also have "The Orville" around to watch. It has a pretty classic Trek flavor of its own.

paltry against the legacy of the Worf Klingons. I am hoping to see them developed further.

I always make allowances for first seasons of new series. TNG season 1 feels very... stilted... compared to later seasons when the actors and characters began to settle in.

The boss isn’t happy about letting my subscribe to CBS’s service just for one show.

I thought, but it only recorded one partial episode.

But I have an Amazon fire stick, so am streaming over it.

I can't really justify springing for All Access just to watch this one show.

That said, I realize this is where TV is going in the future, I just don't have to like it

So we could just subscribe for a month, binge watch and then drop the subscription until the next season is released?

CBS AA releases them once a week on Sunday. The first season was separated into Vol 1 and Vol 2 which will consist of another five or six more episodes. Vol 2 starts airing sometimes in January.

Guy at work handed it me & told me the episodes were on there.
Has to be a hellacious amount of memory on that little thing!
