I could not have said it any clearer. I feel exactly the same way about President Obama.

And why do you think Hitler said, "What luck for rulers that men do not think?"

I'm sure he felt the same about dumb teenage girls also.

By the way, how old are you?

sarcastic.

I have been seeing as much sycophantic acceptance of Obama's abysmal policies here as I saw on Republican sites during the Bush years.

It is unfortunate that way to many idol worshiping Right Wing Authoritarian Democrats have a lot in common with idol worshiping Right Wing Authoritarian Republicans.

Their both incapable of breaking the instinctual urges of treating their leaders like gods that can do no wrong, and must never be question. Aside from the custom made screwing, and nuances of lies they swallow, when it gets down to it there's not a lot of difference between the two.

Welcome to DU, and remember, don't forget to use your tag when your being sarcastic.

I completely agree.

If I might ask, I do not see that 'tag' when I click on smilies. Am I missing something simple? Where is it located?

Though I must admit that it is rather sad that idol worship has become so prevalent that I even need to add such a tag so that I am not misunderstood.

Authoritarians are quick to defend the indefensible no matter what.

Some researchers believe that following and defending the alpha leader is a genetic instinct, and you see it throughout the animal kingdom.

Unfortunately, the normal individual has no natural ability to detect a predator who portrays him or herself as an alpha leader. So goes the saying, "Beware of wolves in sheep's clothing."

Put the word sarcasm between two colons : : and you will get

IMO, blind faith in "our" leaders is the definition of "inability to think." Thank you MSM without the Fairness Doctrine......

I wish she would have come out and been a face for hope for those who have mental illness,or substance abuse, or are HIV+. Whatever caused her breakdown in 2006 and onward, she would have been better off doing anything else (or nothing) other than XFactor, she was just propped up on there. Sad
