Georgia's RICO law could target the entire Trump campaign - Velshi - MSNBC
Many believe that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has an indictment coming for Trump based on Georgia’s anti-racketeering statute– modeled after the federal version, known as the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).
The law can target criminal enterprises “as fleeting as a day or two,” and the target can be a “loose affiliation” of people working together, says Lynsey Barron, a former assistant U.S. attorney in Georgia. “I can see this indictment making the case that the criminal enterprise is the [Trump] campaign.” - Aired on 07/29/2023.

Me thinks a lot of top-leaders of the maga gang are going to sing-sing soon. 
Been anticipating since at least 2018.
And I have an idea that came up earlier while I was doing something else.
What if MS Willis and Mr Smith have been communicating and have agreed on a timing scheme that works for both of them in how the public experiences this whole thing?
So Ms Willis is ready to rock 'n' roll next week and MR Smith may be also with regard to the J6 case... which may ultimately end up being a RICO case as well given the breadth of the conspiracies and participants. If she plans to haul in the whole gang, and it looks like that might be the case as she has asked the entire county courthouse and security to clear their calendars and all that sounds like a big event where numerous people will be processed.
I am stocked up on popcorn and party materials for this coming week.
So if the whole gang has to appear in Atlanta, that shows the pubic who is involved and whom to expect to be appearing for the one in DC in coming days/weeks. Most of us will be cheering, some might make it an impromptu holiday, I'd imagine.
I expect to see some of the same faces in both cases and in DC I expect to see some serious flop sweat, like a flash flood, on the Hill when Mr Smith shows up on the teevee next.
I hope to see all of that happen, Pluto makes a direct station real soon and I expect things to start looking like we have a chance at correction for many months to come. I'm thinking that's the timing.
We have heard that they've been communicating - and likely not just about the timing. And you're right, Fani Willis has been planning this for a long time, making sure that everything's prepared including the necessary security.
And you're also right that this is what we've been waiting for - the start of the hammer finally coming down after so long. And I agree that they're worked it out so that Jack Smith is next!
