Former Vice President Mike Pence was booed during an NRA convention in his home state of Indiana. CNN's Kristen Holmes reports.

but it also makes me smile when I see a GOP leading figure booed by a conservative crowd. The fractures in the party will likely lead to positive results for Democrats in 2024. 
Almost all of the GOP was angry with Pence when he didn't follow the plan to keep Trump in power. His political stances are so unappealing that he won't be able to receive any crossover votes from independents. His base of support is the theocratic religious nutjobs and there simply aren't of them to be viable in the GOP or in a general election.
Now that is certainly a glowing recommendation! 
I guess that it is a wise idea for Trump to keep Pence in his good graces. There still is an outside chance that Trump might need a pardon from Pence (perish the thought). It's another kumbaya moment!
