(111,730 posts)This sort of thing needs to be in articles in the paper, preached from the pulpits (ha), printed on store recepits, and repeated nonstop on all news channels including the right wing garbage ones.
"When child care costs $$$, mothers who have to work have no food at home."
"Early childhood hunger causes permanent brain damage"
And so on. Really lay it on thick. Out those stingy assholes for the woman hating, child hating creeps they really are.

They OPPOSE any Government help in feeding, clothing, housing, educating children born to poorer parents in states that have banned abortions and will ban Contraception.
HYPOCRITES the lot of them as they profess to love Jesus and run awy when posed with the reality of their positions.

(9,166 posts)The anti-abortion movement has been tied at the hip to the mean-spirited right for decades. The lazy-@$$ reporters of the lamestream corporate media has been swallowing and regurgitated these peoples bogus claims about caring for the babies despite their barely-hidden hostility to child nutrition, child care, and other programs that would benefit the babies daily arriving into the world and the children already here.

(2,708 posts)Seriously! How refreshing to see so many of them eager to sign the petition because they actually care about children. If only there were more of them, there might actually be enlightened and rational dialog. If only their fGOP representatives had spine enough to call for such a dialog.
