And it skews left in my experince
Since rightwing billionairs cant pull a twitter with Tik Tok they get people to go on tv and scare people.

There might be security concerns but color me skeptical.

Besides Tik Tokers are often millennials and the right wing wants to poison thier minds too.

2. Just like other countries should be very careful about using US-based tech products

I'm not saying this as a counterpoint but rather that the chances that a product that is distributed around the world will be of interest to intelligence organizations.

Now, think about how many/most of the USB devices (thumb drives, computer cameras, printers, etc.) contain components made in China. And consider that there is a glaring hole in computer defenses due to the handling of newly inserted USB devices: Bad-USB (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BadUSB)

It worries me how much of our (US) or other countries lives may be controlled by outside organizations/states.
