The angry look shows me that he personally has way too much invested in meddling with this.
He should just dial it back and keep on with diplomacy. Good that he did not give his speech in from of "Guernica" or in front of curtains that obscured the painting. We should leave it to France and Germany to settle this diplomatically.

2. What about the "National Sovereignty of Iraq and Vietnam?

How about the national sovereignty of Vietnam and Iraq? His words sound hollow to me. We should just stay out of these quagmires. We have plenty to fix here at home. Call me naive but I worry more about the homeless on our streets than this blustering.
