(10,156 posts)1. So question
With more talk about filibuster reform. Would it be possible to pass H.R 1 if they do go through with reshaping it?

(7,263 posts)3. HR-1 WILL pass. It's SR-1 that is the issue.
The Senate is the problem due to the filibuster. Each chamber passes it's own version and then they must go through reconciliation.
It's going to be a tough fight - but I think the Democratic members in each body will stand tall and take no prisoners.
Even Manchin, Sinema, and Feinstein will eventually get on board with a bit of a push from Leader Schumer and President Joe.
Failure is not an option.

It would also de-fang the stupid Republican (but I repeat myself) state legislators. Like Wisconsin's.
