... his audience is THAT stupid.

Several weeks ago, Tucker went on a rant about Dr. Jill Biden using her "doctor" title to fool people into believing she was a medical doctor. He railed about how you could wind up in a hospital ER being treated by a 'doctor' whose Ph.D. is in education.

Does Tucker believe that hospitals are hiring people with doctorates in non-medical fields to treat heart attack victims?

Of course not - but he knows that the majority of his audience will believe exactly that. He knows that his knuckle-draggers will believe that people with doctorates in modern art are treating ER patients on a regular basis.

You have to be a special kind of stupid to listen to Tucker Carlson - and he knows that
special kind of stupid is his target audience.



Just as a side note: When my daughter wanted to be excused from her high school gym class, she needed a doctor's note and asked if I knew a doctor who would provide one. I told her I had good news/bad news. Yes, I did know a doctor who would sign a note - the bad news being that my friend's doctorate was in medieval history - and she'd have to declare that my daughter should be excused from gym class because she had The Plague.

There are people out there who believe that Dr. Jill Biden would inexplicably be working at a hospital?? A few years ago, I wouldn't have imagined that anyone could possibly be that clueless, but from what I've seen in the past 4+ years, I now believe it!

6. The entire Republican infrastructure is based on appealing to idiots and cranks.

I challenge my Republican friends to name one piece of legislature the GOP would enact if they had total power, excluding cutting taxes.

They usually respond with something vague like restoring God or protecting gun owners.

The GOP is the Party of Stunts. It is all they have.

The "party of Lincoln" is no more. They've become the party of obstruction, no longer representing the American people, and all they have is exactly what you said - stunts. Anyone who continues to support them is either not paying attention or is not a supporter of this country.
