I'll report back if it decreases my wrinkles or my penis enlarges.

Note to myself: Remember to change my profile picture on Facebook if either is true. I only get one chance to make a great first impression.

You're lucky to get the one that requires only the one shot! I got Moderna shot #1 two weeks ago Friday and go back for shot #2 at the end of the month. I considered myself very lucky to get any vaccine at all, previously anyone I knew who got any vaccine had to drive to another part of the state. Let us know how it goes...

I called at 9:15 a.m. today and thought that the available slots would already be full. However, they still had open appointments at 10:15 and 10:45, but I didn't have the time necessary to take the bus today. The person inoculating me will have to find a way to work around my smallpox vaccination scar.

I did arrange for rides on the paratransit bus in both directions and hopefully have a little time to roll myself to the convenience store to get a bottle of Apple Smirnoff Ice so that I have something green to drink for St. Patrick's Day. If I don't get the Apple Smirnoff Ice, then I have some green food coloring to add to either beer or vodka as my backup plan. I'm about 3% Irish and full of blarney so I don't want to miss commemorating the day.

I got a message that sites were offering the vaccine actually near me, but I was in the dentist's chair at the time, so didn't hear right away. So by the time I heard, the closest place was in Saratoga, 20+ minutes South, but I grew up there so I didn't mind - my friend who teaches had to drive completely across the state!

And at least you're getting a ride - just be careful out there. I'm invited to have corned beef and cabbage with 3 girls from my AA Group! My only question was whether they were vaccinated. The one doing the cooking got the Pfizer vaccine early on since she works with psych patients in the ER. And I am Irish on my Dad's side - which could explain a lot.
