....then there's his whole "47% of the people out there are dependent on the government" mindset so he figures to cut those people off and force them to fend for themselves.

Generally, this is the road to revolution. As a matter of fact, I feel this country would have already risen up if it weren't for the social safety net. If these bastards start taking folks who lived the middle class lifestyle and start chucking them out on the streets with no retirement then we are going to see a lot of wealthy people regret their current path of unbridled greed and corruption due to a major backlash.

A proposed few percent on their taxes and they act like the it's the end of the American way of life. What they REALLY fear is the sight of people seeing that just a few percent on the wealthy fixes things so more than a few percent will make things even better,...a few more percent and things get wonderful,....a few more percent and things like world hunger ends....

And there you have it.
