Hallmark gets a lot of crap that other channels don’t. Wholesome and positive rubs some the wrong way. Hallmark has brought a lot of diversity into their movies.

run Christmas movies all year long? I like the holidays as much as the next guy, but the Hallmark channel takes them to the extreme. If anyone ever wonders what happened to Meredith Baxter Birney, all they have to do is turn the channel to Hallmark. A TV network can be too squeaky clean if you ask me.

During the year, they play a movie every Friday and July for “Christmas in July”. Perhaps a bit over kill but they’d never do this if there wasn’t interest.

We watched a bunch of these this year. They slap the title of the movie on the screen within the first 5 seconds. Usually with almost no attention to graphics or font.

Almost all of them end with the first kiss. I mean they kiss and the credits roll.

I will say that they are as consistent as a soccer match - you are in for exactly 2 hours. Bank on it.

Manchester United defeat Leeds 6-2, and it was a very exciting match. They're not all that exciting though, so I know what you mean.

I dread when they do this for months at a time, no "Monk", no "Murder, She Wrote" - no "mysteries" at all on the mystery channel version! And according to the listings, that "Desperate Housewives" guy is on two of these movies simultaneously right now! I yearn for the day that this is over, it's been preempting regular "mystery" programming with Christmas movies since before Halloween!
