Climate change may have already done enough damage to the earth that whatever we do now to stop it, may be too little, according to Guy McPherson.
Do you think he is right?
Is there time to fix the damaging climate change effects or has the Artic melted too much for us to stop it?

(63,221 posts)I am thinking that we might be too far gone. There is such a large portion of the population that just don't take this seriously enough and those currently in power also don't take it seriously enough. They won't stop doing what they are doing when there is money to be made and things to buy.
The threat is urgent, but masters of the universe do not care as long as they can get filthy rich NOW. And they are the ones who call the shots in this world. I am not optimistic.
