1. What is stunning to me about this footage

We are the first people in human history to have such a clear window to living and breathing people as they moved in the world a century ago.

2. You're right about that! I hadn't considered it until you pointed it out.

This particular YouTube channel has dozens of speed-corrected videos of films from 100+ years ago. The sound effects are very well done and help to immerse the viewer into what it may have been like. I viewed these in fullscreen mode so that none of the smaller details escaped my attention.

If time travel were possible, this is one of the periods (both US and Europe) that I'd want to explore. But, these old films will have to do.

3. Totally agree. It would be wonderful to hear the actual voices as they saw the results

of the carnage of war.

I wish all of the perps that want to solve their personal problems by waging wars against another people could have to listen and watch what their mayhem causes.
