Refusing to debate Beto O'Rouke just makes him look weak.

Incumbent repug governor Kay Ivey won't debate Dem Tuscaloosa mayor Walt Maddox.
She is the incumbent by way of being lt. guv when Luv Guv Robert Bentley resigned to avoid impeachment.

She even turned down League of Women Voters forum and would not answer their questionnaire on positions and policies.

"The people don't care about debates." she says.
But she is a repug in Alabama and she'll probably win.
Oh, she also voted for Roy Moore for senate in spite of the fact that she also said she believed his accusers.
She is a real peach.
