(1,095 posts)My son and daughter who are in college... They're very politically aware and very liberal. They totally agreed with her. I thought this was pretty awesome when Bill said;" "Emotional Hemophiliacs". Kirsten Gillibrand is our Senator and I totally disagreed when she said it's all the same. I also disagreed when she said Clinton should have resigned. He had a consensual affair with an adult woman. Monica wasn't a victim. It's truly refreshing to read the comments on YouTube about this video. It's nice to see and know that some of the younger people get it.

She has churned out a series of trite, shallow, cheap attacks on already-marginalized left-wing targets that have made her a heroine in the insular neocon and right-wing intelligentsia precincts..."https://theintercept.com/2017/08/31/nyts-newest-op-ed-hire-bari-weiss-embodies-its-worst-failings-and-its-lack-of-viewpoint-diversity/ My take exactly.

(14,725 posts)was so off set by her silly shallow manner and her inability to have any empathy, that I found the first place that agreed with me to quote. She used someone apologizing for touching her elbow to show how the movement has gone too far. As an old feminist, I find her voice for her millennial generation to be apologetic and uninspired.

(53,955 posts)AS with any movement, there are going to be problems, especially within group. My problem with the site you quotes, besides it being run by a Russophilic sycophant, is his "problems" with her is mainly about who on the right agrees with her (so the fuck what?!) and her being a "Zionist" (wink, wink).
